I found a very easy workaround on Yahoo IM, there is a website you can do a
web login and just as if you were executing the program on your system...

webmessenger.yahoo.com

If you have a browser working (have to turn off popups off )  and it will
let you login to the accout and just as if you were using the exe file in
microsloth
