For the most part, that should work just fine. When the Mac Mini
came out, Apple advertised that you would need to BYOKMM (Bring Your
Own Keyboard, Mouse, & Monitor), with the assumption that many of
those were from a Windows environment. The same keyboards, monitors,
and mice should also work equally well on other modern Macs.
The keys might be mapped a bit strangely on the keyboard, however.
