someone already posted the details. but just to
regurgitate.. I'm running my website from a server at
my house also (VMware actually..lol).
I did:
1. Setup a dyndns account (Free) and chose a url.
2. routed port 80 traffic at the router to my server's
IP.
3. opened port 80 at the server (SuSE 10.1)
4. Apache/MySQL/PHP installed
5. alive and rockin'
6. see 5.
The only thing you have to keep in mind is, if your IP
changes you'll have to update your dyndns account with
the current IP. They have linux clients that update
it but I dont use them or know if they work.
