[SATLUG] Serial dial up modem recommendations? PLEASE???

Any non-winmodem will work out of the box.  Is your mother's PC a tower?  If
so, you can put a simple PCI modem in there and Ubuntu should notice it just
fine.  Follow the link below for a list of them.  You can get a good modem
for less than $10.00 and shipping is about $5.00.
