Yes, I have this feature, but it only seems to be applying to incoming calls.
When I send a fax using the phone, it correctly identifies it as a fax call.
When I send data signals with atdt commands, the phone correctly identifies
the call as a data call. I can even initialize the phone with the standard
minicom atdt init string. What i cannot seem to do is to get the actual call
through. I know the remote modem answers, just no data connection is established.
I'm beginning to think this is an issue with the remote modem setup though,
not my phone.
