[SATLUG] How to maximized ome cable internet

I live in the north suburbs of Chicago.  I am interested in bandwidth at a
reasonable cost.  Comcast is the only thing that comes close in the
residential sector.   I have their top end package which is 8mbs download
and 768 kbs upload.   It approximately cost $65 per month plus tax.   I was
wondering what are my options without jumping up to $800 per month bonded t1
lines?
