One thing I discovered about TV LCD screens is that the pixels on the
screen can be laid out differently depending on the
model/manufacturer. Some of them seem to have a "honeycomb"
arrangement with pixels laid out in equilateral triangles. Others
have a grid with horizontal and vertical rows of pixels.
The first time I tried hooking my computer up to an LCD TV, I couldn't
figure out why the text looked so fuzzy. A closer look showed that I
had the honeycomb type, which I promptly took back to the store and
exchanged for a grid-type so it would look clear with the computer
hooked up.
