I purchased two Seagate Barracuda ST3500630NS 500gb SATA drives
recently to become a mirror in my windows desktop. I've been very
pleased with the performance of the drives, I paid the extra 25 each
for the NS series because from what I've been able to determine there
is additional vibration dampening in the NS devices, and they have
nearly twice the MTBF (according to Seagate) as the A/AS drives; and
since that mirror holds all my digita pictures, music, etc I wanted to
make sure I wouldn't be a victim of a failing HD again :)
