[SATLUG] Zap2it Shut Down?

They did shut down to the open public for a while around that time.
I had to dig around and find some alternatives. After a couple of
months, and dissatisfaction with the alternatives, I tried Zap2it
again and it worked and has been working since.
The "feature / function / presentation" set has changed noticeably.
Some for the better, some for the worse - for my uses.

I am not sure if users who had created a login and established a
"personal profile" were ever affected. I did not, and do not, use
those features.

The worst part is the agony of having to deal with really bad Java
programming on many of these so-called "free" sites.
It has taken some of them many months to correct obvious, silly
programming errors in the presentation. I wrote a note to them and
detailed the problem and where I thought the fix should be applied.
They told me to mind my own business since I was a "free-loader".
