[SATLUG] How to get the list of SNMP variables

I'm trying to write a web interface console to connect via SNMP to a 3com
switch however the 3com is old and I don't have any owner's manual or SNMP
info on it.  I have access to the device and can set the read and write
community strings on the device, but beyond that I am clueless.

Does anyone know how I can query the device to either get a list of it's
current configuration via SNMP or query it so I know how to form a SNMP
command to set these VLANs?   Has anyone else tried using SNMPget or SNMPput
to read and write values like this?
