[SATLUG] Road Runner Speed Increase

up here in Dallas, I can bittorrent a couple of linux ISOs, and watch my
total incoming bandwidth burst for the first minute or so at over 10
megabit, and then it 'tapers' down to 6 megabit.
we have comcast cable.
dsl can't touch that speed, and i suspect that the cable company has more
headroom, judging from the burst speeds that i get.
(but dsl has other advantages, like inexpensive static ips, so that's what
i've setup in the office)
