[SATLUG] Need Laptop Recommendations

I'm in the market for a new business laptop..  But, I'm not happy with what
I see out there right now.  I like the Ferrari 64 bit notebook that's
dropped over 4-$500 dollars in past few months though.  But, I'm hearing
that 64 bit applications to run on them are not readily available.

I'm looking for a light, durable, fast laptop.  I'm kind of leaning towards
Dell Latitude.  I boot between XP and Fedora.

I really don't want to install windows, but have to for a few applications
(Quicken, TurboTax).  Also, I don't know if Vista is out yet and even
recommended.

Another alternative would be to buy a Mac..but i am at beginner level.

My timeline is between now and the middle of August.

Suggestions appreciated.
