Heh. ATT is pushing fiber to the node in the older neighborhoods to
shorten the length of the old twisted pair of copper. In the new
neighborhoods where they can lay fresh cables, they're pulling fiber
right up to the house. I'll have to say that I'm more impressed with the
SBC/ATT Techs than I was with the TWC techs. The ATT techs really seemed
to know more about what they're doing. They seemed to have more general
knowledge than the TWC guys.

Anyways, that has almost nothing to do with anything else :)
