Just an update. Met with him this afternoon and let him print about
60-80 pages. We will be meeting tomorrow to scan his completed
paperwork into a pdf to email out.

> Thanks for doing that, Art. If you have any news or need any help, pls reply... I'd be willing to help, though I'm far probably not anywhere near this hotel. On the one hand, you have to be cautious, and protect yourself.
> But on the other hand, things are not always as they seem, and unless you are 100% something is a scam (Nigeria comes to mind), we should give people the benefit of the doubt, out of human charity (the original, virtuous meaning of the word, not its modern political distortion).
> While it's true that there is an Al Burton out there, it's also true that anyone can create a yahoo email address and call themselves whatever they want (al2burton is his ID). I would offer help, with great caution. By nature, we generally have a desire to help others, and some people take advantage of this (especially during the Christmas season).
> There are people out there who are VERY good at making even the most clever among us part with our money, or worse, leveraging either our desire to help, or our own greed against us. All of us, to one degree or another, are confusable (and some of us are just plain confusing, but that's another matter).
> So, if you try to help this person, and at any time are not sure about something, please post again and ask for input (with the new info), so some more objective eyes/minds can give you their two cents. Good luck and God bless you.
