I'll have to agree with you there.  I picked up an HP Photosmart 2575
and partly becuase I could just hang it on my network and don't have
to worry about messing with printing from Samba/Cups or hanging it off
my wife's Windows box.

Cups saw it right away and I've been printing ever since.
