[SATLUG] Sound card has started working :)

Well, got my sound working again. I regressed to the ALSA drivers from my
original Slack CDs (which was version 1.0.5a) and that seemed to do it. I
narrowed it down to using swaret to upgrade to the alsa-1.0.9 packages being
the problem, as that seems to be doing something to my modules configuration
that removes some necessary stuff. I compiled ALSA 1.0.9 from scratch and
installed it (modules only) that way, and it worked fine.
Still had a problem afterwards where "/dev/dsp" didn't exist, and things
compiled with only OSS support (and not ALSA) were not playing sound, but
after some searching I found that the "snd-pcm-oss" module wasn't loaded
along with all the others, and loading that module has indeed salvaged OSS
support.
I'm still not sure exactly everything that happened, but I think I have a
*slightly* better understanding of the Linux sound system and modules now.
:) Thanks for your suggestions, y'all! (I still haven't upped to udev
0.62, so I avoided that problem by accident I guess!)
Dave
