Oh, I forgot to mention Seth.
You mentioned handing out Knoppix and Ubunto CDs there. I've got a copy
of the just-released Knoppix 4 DVD coming down. If you want a copy to
try out at the school and show others what it can do, let me know. I'll
make a copy for you when I make one to check out myself.

Thats the problem. We have no Idea who the thing belongs to. My teacher says
its been there for about two years, and she thought it didnt have an OS on
it. When I went to get one installed, it came up with the login prompt. I
would like to have a Linux computer there so we could get experiance with
those as well. All they have us practicing on is Windows ME,2000,XP,and 98.
We did find other computers as well which didnt have OS's so Im going to go
ahead and install a few distros on those. Nobody else in my class has used
Linux, and Im not that experienced with it as well. Also, where could I get
a .tgz file for slackware for USB? It wont recognize my MP3 player while the
new Knoppix DVD will. Where should I look for that? Thanks guys, everyones
been a great help so far. By the way, Im starting a Linux club at Warren and
Im going to give out Knoppix and Ubuntu cds for those who what to try Linux
when we start it. If anyone has any questions that I cant answer, Im going
to tell the to ask here.
