[SATLUG] starting console emacs

Look in your home directory .bashrc profile and in the system wide
default profile /etc/bashrc (assuming bash shell of course).  Sometimes,
you'll find an alias pointing things like "vi" to "vim".  Your emacs
command might be starting xemacs the same way.
