Yes. For instance Open Office will not compile with gcc 3.2.3. Gues who has gcc-3.2.3. Me. Guess who can't compile openoffice. That's me also. That's okay, I installed the binary version. that's the only package I've run across so far that will not comile on the new gcc. Mind you, I upgraded less than 24 hours ago. Mike
