[SATLUG] Knoppix = COOL!

Chris,
I had a hell of a time a month ago trying to get a Toshiba laptop to boot
off the CD instead of the hard drive. Even when I went into the Toshiba
Winblows utility (was making it dual boot) and set it to CD, it would still
boot off the hard drive.
I was ready to shoot it after about a day. Klutzing around with it, I found
that at boot time (I got real good at three fingering it) I could repeated
hit a key real fast and get a boot choice menu. I don't think it was the
delete key. If I remember right, it was either escape, F1, or F2. Try that
out.

Ok, I found an 80 minute CD and burned the Knoppix file. I got an old
laptop and went into the BIOS and set it to boot from CD-Rom but when I
tried it out it just boots to Windoze98. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
