Glenn,
What I've had to do on the Windoze side of things, is take the named
boxes i.e. Inbox and Trash and look at them for size etc. then take
the messages you want to keep, move them to another mailbox, and delete
the Inbox and Inbox.snm (I think) and re-create them with notepad as an
empty file. Same for the Trash, and it really cleans up the space.
For some reason Netscape (Mozilla) does not really delete from those files.
