No, I've had no problem with my Toshiba, although I don't have your model.
My model is a Satellite 1000-S158. Which distro are you using again?

Sondy

bingo! i got a satellite 2400 and it works, although i havent tried the
modem, dvd or ethernet yet. the only problems i have are with the speakers
buzzing and the keys under x repeating themselves.

a goolge search returned several fixes for the keyboard problem but none
that
i have tried work. i did the kernel patch, which gave me errors and using
extra software to turn off bouncing. nothing seems to work. did you have
this problem?

thanks
matt
