[SATLUG] which laptop to buy?

ALL RIGHT! ALL RIGHT!!!

<Referee steps to the center of the ring and holds up his hands>

Lets call a truce on this disagreement PLEASE. There is no need to get
personal or insulting in our discussions. Everyone has an opinion. And
just like the back end that everyone also has, they sometimes stink. But
lets not push that stink on each other please.

This list is open to many, MANY discussions. Linux, Winblows, BSD, OS X,
Unix, networking, Internet Protocols, etc... I don't think I've have ever
seen someone object to a post's subject -- except to say that the poster
might get more response on a more appropriate list. We do advertise that
this list is Linux based, but pretty much open to anything.

So, lets everyone play nice -- PLEASE.

Chuck

Oh, I'm sorry. I can't use anything but LINUX products. Anyway, I use and
can administer Apple, Linux, Solaris and Microsoft LAN's, I work with Cisco
and Bay Networks switches, routers and assorted wireless and IR equipment.
I guess that's what I get for working in the DoD intelligence agency. I
guess you can call that "so cute." Why is it you mention Apple and get the
"elitism" label? And thanks so much for putting my suggestion down as
rubbish, if you don't know or like something I guess that's what you do.
